In 2020, BSIFF offered the Yaa Asantewaa-GOETHE award valued at $1500 to winners of the Best Ghanaian Film award . In 2017, BSIFF offered the Yaa Asantewaa-UNDP awards valued at $3000 each to 6 winning filmmakers.

About Industry day
This is a networking event for film industry professionals. BSIFF brings over film directors, producers and actors to represent each of the films screened during the festival. They arrive to meet with their counterparts, pitch their ideas or take part in casting sessions. To facilitate this mutually beneficial cooperation BSIFF is inviting producers, distributors, casting agents, screenwriting experts, investors, lawyers and other professionals specializing in the filmmaking business from the world. On the day, we will be holding several sessions with the experts in each field listed below and you will have an opportunity to meet your prospective partners, consultants, and make personal contacts.
